Fellow cavers,
In March, 2001, I took over Lost Creek Packs. As many of you know, Lost Creek Packs has a reputation for producing high quality caving packs and textile accessories. I’ve been a highly active caver since 1983 and have caved all over the world spending thousands of hours underground. I started caving just about the time Lost Creek’s founder, Tom Fritsch died, and was fortunate to have had an original Fritsch Lost Creek Pack which I purchased from Tom shortly after I started caving. I have watched the company grow and continue to improve its products. Now I intend to carry on the tradition of excellence and bring my experience and ingenuity into the company. I am looking forward to working with you all in the coming years.

About us:
Lost Creek Packs is located at Tranquility in Southern Indiana, near the town of Bedford and is a division of AES,Inc. Our staff is composed of active cavers and talented craftspeople which we think makes us hard to beat when it comes to serving the caving community! All of our products are handcrafted and inspected to ensure the highest quality. We continually test our products and work on improvements, both in design and in materials. Besides, this gives us a great excuse to go caving, all in the name of research and development! Lost Creek was born of Tom Fritsch, an active caver in Bloomington in the late 70s. Tom’s untimely death in the mid 80s did not spell the end of the idea of Lost Creek Packs, however. Local cavers worked hard to keep Lost Creek going and made it what it is today, the largest manufacturer of caving packs and related textiles in the United States! Lost Creek strives to be a great place to work, which we think is reflected in our products.
